I never wanted to write a book, I mean I like the imaginary scenario of writing a book that is acclaimed by someone, but the reality of it is I never think anything I write is that good, that worth subjecting others too, heck I hardley ever like what I write a day, month or year after I've written it. I also love run on sentences....I write how I think and that means that many thoughts are strung together with ananlysis and disclaimers and multifaceted thinking built in. If multifaceted means looking at it from more than one angle...or at least seeming too. So when I started this post it was to do more than meandor on meaninglessly....I did have a point, and oh yeah, my thought was regarding this organic kick. You know, the more I think about it the less it makes sense. I'm sure it needs more research by me, as obviously manufacturing butt loads of toxic chemicals and releasing them into the environs without another thought is not good, but these chemicals are naturally occurring if only in smaller amounts, so is it the chemical itself that is bad...obviously it was manufactured for some purpose so no, but the way it was disregarded after the fact that was unfortunate. Is there really something that is invented, never before to have existed, or is it just figuring out how to make or derive a chemical that previously we could only retrieve by extracting the juices of some plant. What is really meant by synthetic and organic? Is "synthetic" water just not as good as the natural kind, does the fact that two hydrogens and an oxygen are combined in a factory versus in the atmosphere make it less water? Is organic good only because ingesting large amounts of effective chemicals are toxic whereas minimal exposure that would occur in nature is less so? I.E. we find plant extracts that kill bugs and spray them all over our food but it uses up too much land, clean water etc to grow all the source plants, harvest them and extract the chemical so our scientists in labs work out how to make it in reverse leaving possibly other harmful byproducts behind as well as the desired mix. This is a thought I would like to explore further...later. And other social stigmas that don't make sense to me....
